He slid his thumb against her cheek and smiled a little at the kiss to his forehead. “I love you too,” he whispered and looked at her. “Okay, I haven’t … moved much in a long time, so this will be interesting,” he replied and grinned at her. “Yeah? I would like that. Should I … think about a job?” he wasn’t sure what his skill set was. He had been a psychiatrist, but two men with the same name doing the same job in different places? He wasn’t sure if that would work out very well.
He seemed… calmer. More… normal. She smiled a little wide when he told her he loved her too. She’d missed him so much. “We can work on it. If your body has… lost strength, we can work on it, I can be your crutch for now. I’m fine with that. Anything to get you back up to par.” She brushed his cheek with her thumb. “And only think about a job when you’re stronger alright? I’ve… done a few more dirty things to get a large sum of money to take care of us until then.” She didn’t want to think about what she’d done to get a hold of that money. Her guilty conscious was messing with her. “I just want you to feel better first, my love.”
